What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Susan Aguilo Sleeping in! No seriously, I do love sleeping. I'm a total night hawk and have always found that I'm truly creative after 8pm. Really there is nothing better than having the opportunity to inspire kids and teens all over the world!

How do you get inspired to write?
Susan Aguilo I read a lot, go to the movies, travel and do things! I have a very active imagination so it doesn't take much for me to create crazy stories around reality.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Susan Aguilo Create a plan and stick to it. You don't need the entire book planned out, but a couple of chapters keeps you focused. Don't think about it just do it!

What are you currently working on?
Susan Aguilo I am currently working on Book #2 of the Guardian Series, audio books for my children's series and a free game app for "Alexander and the Spear of Destiny." My life is never boring!

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Susan Aguilo I take my two dogs Steve and Buddy to the beach and go for a long walk. If your tired or stressed it always impacts creativity.
