Always easier to give advice than follow it; but, I try to keep a schedule: a block of time each day that's just for writing. Silence the cellphone, give the kids laudanum Kool-Aid, hang up a "GO AWAY - GIANT RABID RADIOACTIVE GERBILS INSIDE!!!" sign, if necessary.
