When I was a young girl my family and I lived in a home that I'm not afraid to say was haunted. Things would go missing, cabinets that were closed when you left the room were open when you returned. Odd rotten smells came from the laundry room in an instant and disappeared just as quickly. No matter how many plumbers were called in, nothing could be found wrong.
There were just so many things that happened in that home but we could never explain it. Ten/fifteen years back the house was torn down and a x-ray lab was built in it's place. I spoke with them to find that they were experiencing odd goings on. Three of their x-ray machines burnt out within a week, the eeg machines would start up when no one was near them, or even attached to anyone.
The mystery of this house, or rather of the land would make for an interesting read.

I would like to amend my answer to this question. No there will not be a Guardians 4 because the trilogy was rewritten and re-imagined into the Young Chronicles Trilogy. The same characters and plot but told in a very different way
Old Response: That's a bit of a tricky question. I have been back and forth on this question for a few years now. When I wrapped up the last book I did have intentions of coming back to the series at a later date.
As of this moment, I am truly undecided. I'm currently tied up in Mechanical Dragons and when I complete the next two books in the series I will revisit the possibility of returning to Taya's world.

I don't know if you would call it an inspiration, really just a jump off point to a new story. I start with a conversation.
Usually an argument, it's heated and interesting and usually gives me a good base to work with.

If you're in it for the money, then stop now. Only a lucky few make good money from the get go.
It's not a sprint but a marathon and no matter how hard or frustrating it can get, just keep writing.
Write what you love, if you don't love it, neither will anyone else.

I'm currently working on a story about a girl and her unexpected dragon.
