I haven't really had much of a problem with that yet, and I hope I never do. What little I did have I started writing down what was the problem, what was bothering my creative flow if it was a day job problem a relationship problem, stress even just being over tired. Suddenly the words start to flow again once I realize what is really bothering me.

For me it is telling a really good story. One that has life with action and drama and love, anger and despair. Because we all feel these emotions and I want my characters to be of all things believable. At the risk of sounding crazy it is a way to handle the voices in my head LOL I am sure there are others but I am just getting started.

First write because you love it, not to become rich and famous overnight because that is a dream every writer starts out with and the bubble is soon burst. It may be burst with a struggle for a good ending or even a beginning. Then comes the first rejection letter either from an agent or a publisher for rare is the one who will take on a diamond in the rough. Me I got lucky I only got rejected by 13 agents before I found someone willing to take a chance on what I now know to be a rough manuscript. Second if you love it don't give up keep submitting don't take no for an answer

Book two of the Alien Manifesto series It is currently titled Earth's Mirror it may be book two of a trilogy or just a sequel to my newest release Alien Manifesto. I won't know for sure until i come up with the ending for Earth's Mirror.

I see something in my daily life that gives me an idea. It could be something in a movie or even standing in line at the grocery store. I never know where inspiration will come from. Sometimes my charterers take over and write their own story. I guess it all depends on the day
