So many worlds, so many answers. But I do think travelling to the world of my own books, the town of Kirk's Landing, would be fun. I could see what it really looks like, talk to the people there, hear what they think of what I've crafted. Sort of like in the Jasper Fforde series, Thursday Next.

I never did meet my father - early divorce - so that could be a plot. With a twist, of course.

Kirk's Landing was a combination of three things: growing up in a small town, an interest in aboriginal legends, and several ex-cop friends. NaNoWriMo happened, and suddenly I had a story idea.

Best thing is not the fame and fortune ;-) But, it is the thrill of creating something from nothing more than an idea - sparked by a phrase, a location, a glimpse of a person. Even better is when someone else 'gets' what you were trying to convey.
