What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Cambria Gordon I lost a sweatshirt jacket one time in 6th grqade and when I checked the lost and found, it wasn't there. So I took one that looked just like it. I kept wondering who it belonged to. When I found a note in the pocket, it was a partial list of strange ingredients. Like a spell.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Cambria Gordon We were living in Madrid for a sabbatical year and I became fascinated with these plaques on the ground demarcating old Jewish neighborhoods. But there were only signs. No bricks, no archeological remnants. I asked myself, What happened to all the Jews of Spain?
