I have a family member who suffered from Paranoid Schizophrenia, so I was able to use my own personal knowledge, as well as research to learn as much about mental illness as I could, especially how it presents in teenagers. Every mind is different, though, so (in my opinion) no mental illness will affect everyone the same, which made incorporating it into a character's identity more comfortable, since the last thing I'd ever want to do is offend someone.

They'd robbed his ice-cream truck, set it on fire, and left him for dead, causing him to hunt them down, one by one, saying, "Revenge has never tasted so sweet." Reuniting the young men with rope and duct tape, he used his razor-sharp ice-cream scoop to meticulously remove the first one's intestines while his friends watched in horror, asking each of them, with a scar-twisted smile, "Would you like one scoop or two?"

If I could travel to any fictional world it would definitely be the magical world of Harry Potter. Hopefully my age & muggle status would be fictional, too, so I could attend Hogwarts. Can you imagine walking down the halls of the school or taking a trip to Diagon Alley? That, alone, would be incredible, but to do it with actual HP characters? I can't even....

I have been talking to the book store in White Pine, but nothing is set up as of right now. Hey, Holly! Yes, I'm going to be participating in the Authors Corner at Mountain Makins in Morristown this weekend. I also have a signing on November 22nd at 11:00 at the Dandridge Memorial Library (the town where the For Always series actually takes place) for the release of "For Eternity", the final installment in the series. Have unexplained things happen in my life, living in a 'haunted' house, for instance, I became intrigued by the paranormal. Because of this, I joined a paranormal team and started investigating the phenomenon. Having heard accounts of people becoming 'involved' with ghosts, the idea of what it would be like to REALLY become involved with one popped into my head, which led to "For Always".

I just finished the third book in the FOR ALWAYS series, "For Eternity", which is available for pre-order & will be released on November 4th. I'm currently working on a bit of a spin-off from that series, but it's NOT a fourth book. And that's all I can say about that lol. ;-)

Music. I've come up with some really good plot twists while laying out in the sun & relaxing. I listen to music that evokes certain feelings for certain scenes, and getting into that mood helps inspire me.
