Thanks Brianna for reaching out to me. I'm currently working on "Surrender" -- Nicholas and Andrea's story.
I recently published a sci-fi/fantasy (Willfully Compelled) and am about to release in August a paranormal romance (In Plain Sight). So it's taken up a bit of my time.
My intention is to have "Surrender" published by October 2015, if not sooner. I also hope to have Griffin's story (Forsaken) published soon after that. I haven't meant to neglect my readers of the Irresistible Series... Just had been working on some other stories that were ready to be published.
This is my game plan for the Irresistible Series:
"Surrender" to be published Fall of 2015 (Nic and Andrea)
"Forsaken" to be published early 2016 (Griffin)
"Scandalous" to be published mid 2016 (Rafe)
-- potential novella featuring our favorite threesome getting hitched late 2016--
So much to look forward to!

My inspiration for writing comes from reading, music, dreams.... and while in the shower. Yes, you read that right. For some insane reason I sometimes come up with scenes or story lines while in the midst of washing my hair or enjoying a hot shower.
The trick is writing down whatever idea(s) that comes barelling through my mind because all too often I swear that I'll remember the details but later completely blank!

Almost everyone will always tell you to just write, write, and write.... Which is absolutely true!! I probably have 16 stories saved in my flashdrive that have absolutely nothing to do with the Irresistible Series. Evenutally many of those stories will get published... ??? ... But only time will tell. My debut novel sat collecting dust for years before I was finally encouraged to print it.
So first and foremost, write. Then, re-read it and write some more because it can always be better. Don't forget to edit. If you don't want anyone you know to read it then consider beta readers. But it's imperative to have someone who isn't too closely associated with you to read the manuscript with an unbiased opinion.
For Indie Authors, aka going the self-published route: Smashwords is a great website resource that will not only provide you with material for how to publish but you can actually upload your eBook there too and list it for sale. They distribute to various e-retailers including B&N, Apple, etc. Amazon's KDP is also another great resource for authors to learn about publishing and getting their eBook published through Amazon.
Read a lot! For research, to improve grammar, and for inspiration!

I deal with writer's block in several ways. Sometimes I have to walk away from the story for a few days and come back to it with a fresh perspective. Re-reading the section I'm stuck on after some time away helps to look at it and regain perspective.
The other thing that helps me write is MUSIC!! I can keep the same song on repeat for an hour just to keep the words flowing. And no, it's not necessarily the songs I've incorporated into the stories or that particular scene. Reading and music have always been my passions and lifelines. It only makes sense to incorporate them!
Lastly, I have my coveted beta readers that help provide me with valuable feedback and inspiration. Sometimes I just need someone to ask me why or what about a part that lacks depth to help inspire better writing.

The beautiful thing about writing a series is that there's so much potential for future books, novellas, or just bonus material. While writing REVERENCE, the idea came up for a future novella featuring Valentino. So, my inspiration comes from all angles. Desirae and Diego's story was always in the works from the moment Diego met the fiesty brunette in ATTRACTION! :)
