If I could make the couple regardless of cannon, I'd say Jay Gatsby and Jordan Baker. I really think they would have got on better.... well, anything would be better than the fate Jay met. But I've always believed they would make a great couple... which is why Fitzgerald didn't write it that way, I'm sure.
If I have to go with real cannon couples, then Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth. Come on, it's a no-brainer! They complement each other well, but are still different enough that you know they had some heated arguments in their marriage. Plus, Mr. Darcy *swoons*.

As silly as it is, I got the idea for Bookish Hearts from a quote I found on Pinterest that wondered why boys didn't buy girls books in stores the way they buy drinks in bars. I thought it was funny, and wrote a two page sketch about how that would go down. When I re-read it, I found I had a story on my hands.

I know a lot of authors say writer's block isn't real, but for me it is very real. When it happens, I do one of two things: I either take a break to read (maybe an amazing plot twist in a novel I'm reading will inspire me), or I stop and go to sleep. When I wake up, I'm full of ideas, and ready to tackle the next chapter.
