Yeah, I don’t really know how that happened - but glad you’re enjoying my books! I’ve got lots of projects coming up for next year, so hopefully will have lots more for you to read.
I didn’t really understand how Goodreads worked when I joined, and think I set up an author page and then Goodreads did the same, meaning I then had two. I don’t really know.
Hearing that you like my books really helps right now, as I have been feeling a bit deflated about it all. But I’ll never stop writing as long as people like you keep reading!

I don't have it per se. I sometimes struggle to get everything exactly how I want it worded, despite it sounding right in my head, but when I hit a blocking just move into something else.
Some authors say work on one thing at a time. Frak that!
I have about 5 projects on the go at any one time, it's the only way I can work. When one stalls, I put it on the back burner and come back to it.
Which I will sooner or later....

The buzz. The buzz of creating something people will read. The buzz of seeing your name in print, your picture on the back cover, of seeing your stuff sell and knowing people are enjoying it.
But of them all, creating is the biggest buzz. You are God, you have the ability to build a world, and you have the ability to tear it down again.
Who lives, who dies, it's entirely up to you - but all the time be aware, some of your fans are going to hate you for what you do to some of their favourite characters, so remember always be fair.

It's a cliche and everyone says it but it's true. Write EVERY DAY! And if you can't, write as often as you can. Carry a pen and paper with you everywhere you go, write on the toilet, write in the bath, every five minutes you have spare is time you could spend writing.
I deliberated over writing anything for years - only ever wrote one short story as an adult - now I try my best to write at least every other day if not every day because if I stop, I find my motivation slipping and it is all too easy to get lost on Facebook playing games, talking crap etc...
Everyone needs some down time and a little time to themselves not doing anything too mentally stimulating, but don't let that stop you writing.
As soon as I finish one piece, I get straight back on that horse and start something else. Because I know, if I stop, I just might not get started again and I have so much time that I missed out on when I wasn't writing that I now need to make up for.

Well Feral Hearts, a Six author vampire collaboration, has just been released, and hot on the heels of that I am now working on a six author werewolf collaboration written in a similar vein.
As well as that, I am writing my first full length novel, working on several shorts for various anthologies, and looking to release another novella hopefully in time for Halloween.

My only problem is in trying to shut down my inspiration. Everything inspires me, I am constantly noting down possible story ideas, making notes on characters from the people whom I meet all around me.
The problem is getting all those ideas down on paper - I have too many ideas, too little time and seeing as how I have only been writing a year, I have a lot of missed time to make up for.

Time of tides came about because my Press was looking for scary fish tales. I started brainstorming in our author chat and came up with several ideas I wanted to incorporate, but wasn't sure how they might all come together. When they eventually did, Time of tides was born.
I set it on the Norfolk Broads because I knew I wanted to keep it local and I was brought up on their shores.
Hopefully it kind of works, certainly some people must like it because it has sold really well since it's release earlier this year.
