Erika Lance What is your favorite character? Most authors will have a favorite and never share. :)

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Erika Lance I write a "to-do" list or a grocery list until the words begin to flow again.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Erika Lance I am able to create. I make up people, settings and events. Then I get to entertain by giving them to others.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Erika Lance You will be the biggest barrier to your success. Sit down and write. It won't get done without you.

The second piece of advice; use an editor. Seriously, nothing ruins a good story more then bad grammar and horrible spelling.

What are you currently working on?
Erika Lance My first full length novel called: Mason Jars.

How do you get inspired to write?
Erika Lance Mostly by my friends and family. They are so supportive and demanding to see my next piece of work that I have no choice but to do as requested :).

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Erika Lance My most recent stories were inspired by moments that I experienced and then decided I could take them 1 or 10 steps further into the realms I write in.
