I live in a state of constant inspiration! LOL The problem is finding time. Actually, though, I was feeling as if the feline muse had deserted me after The Cats of Rekem, and I was wondering if three cat books wasn't the perfect number. The challenges of writing from a cat's eye view were beginning to pale. But then, somewhere between the release of Rekem and Christmas, I started getting familiar twinges, and a critical central character floated up from my inner depths. By February I was in full research mode.
So I guess my answer is, inspiration comes from my non-verbal depths, where dreams and memories mix and flow. I suspect it's also the easiest place for human beings to listen for the voice of Spirit.

I've just begun writing the 4th book in the Yeshua's Cats series--a book I wasn't sure I'd ever write! It picks up the story of the young woman Yeshua found nearly dead after she been stoned in the Galilee hills near Sepphoris in Yeshua's Cat. In the new book (as yet unnamed) he discovers that the woman's assailants have discovered her whereabouts and are threatening her life all over again, so he travels to Cana to find another safe place for her. Enough said for now!
