When I finished Heroes Never Die, I wanted to work on a book that has been swirling in my mind for years, but my husband kept insisting I write a sequel instead. After a while, he sold me on the idea, and No Goodbyes in Heaven was born.

I’m a schemer and a dreamer, so writing is the perfect way to harness all my mental energy. Besides keeping me out of trouble, writing gives me the chance to talk about the experiences in my life or to explore personalities and situations unlike my own, only it’s all done through the hearts and minds of my fictitious characters. But seeing my work in print is the best writing experience of all.

When I write myself into a corner and there is no apparent way out of the plot I created, my mind never stops working on the solution, even when I’m sleeping. With time and critical thought, the perfect answer comes. One minute the block seems impossible to break, then suddenly, it all clicks, and the plot takes off again.
