Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Daphne Loveling All I'll say is, aspects of my life seep into all of my books. I am not an old lady in an outlaw MC, but I definitely can identify with the dilemmas of my heroines. They all have a piece of me in them, for sure.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Daphne Loveling Literally the readers. I absolutely love my contact with them. I love being a writer in an era where it's possible for someone to message me in so many ways. I would have loved to be able to do that when I was a little kid. I remember writing to one of my favorite authors when I was a child, and she never wrote back! I was so sad! Readers are *the* number one most important aspect of writing to me. After all, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have this career!

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Daphne Loveling Oh, gosh. This is a tough one. Honestly, I think the most important thing is to sit down every day at the same time as a routine, and just put your fingers on the keyboard and start typing. I sometimes do short writing sprints where the game is that I can't stop typing until the timer goes off. It doesn't always give me anything usable, but it definitely helps me get my brain focused on the story I'm working on.
