I do have a tenative timeline for the second and third books of the Shadow Space Chronicles. I'm currently finishing The Shattered Empire, the second book in the series. My goal is to have it out in ebook and print format in the fall, possibly as early as September, though that depends on how I feel about the final product, since I don't want to publish something that isn't as good as it could be. The Audiobook version will begin work in September, that process takes around 30-60 days.
For the third book, I'll start work on it in November/December time frame. As long as things go to plan, I should have the third book, currently untitled, published in late winter/early spring.

Generally if I'm having an issue writing it is because I know something is wrong with the plot or a character's behavior. The best way I find to do with that is back-track to a point where it was flowing properly, cut out the problem section, and rewrite the scene. It doesn't matter how well written the problem scene is... if it doesn't work with the book then it just doesn't work.

I am currently writing The Shattered Empire. It is the sequel to The Fallen Race and takes place shortly after the events in the first book. I am also editing my epic fantasy novel Echo of the High Kings, which I hope to have out by the end of July 2014
