You kind of nailed it - Snarky sexy funtimes with a dash of magic and a side order of laughs....

I had intended to write a short snappy novella regarding an idea that has been haunting me for a few years. But I'm having fun with it, and the story/journey keeps unfolding and unfolding (so long novella length - full length novel here we come) I promise to provide a few more details regarding it in my next blog. In the meantime - yes, there is humour, and not one but two romances on offer.

Awesome idea. I`d love to. Just don`t have the time to get a project like that up and running just now. Current focus is getting book 14 done of Southern Sanctuary. Then Book 2 of Vexatious Valkyries. Plus have 3 other storylines clamouring to be written. I need 3 more me`s.

Darn, I wish I could say soon, but the muse that lives in my head demanded that I write Patricia's story next (Head librarian and Cara's boss). Book 13 will be entitled To Kiss A Kringle. And Patricia will go toe to toe with Cullen, who has been stealing her library books. Of course it is much more complicated than that. There are witches, hybrid Jaguars and a six-foot-six warrior who might just be Patricia's perfect mate... except why does she keep thinking about annoying five-foot-eight Cullen?
I'm still finishing off the first draft. And given it has a Christmas theme - it goes without saying the publication date will definitely be late 2019.
Then it will be, hopefully, maybe, probably Elijah and Copper's turn next.

Appreciate the love. Book 13? Hit with a bit of a hiccup last year and my schedule is up in the air. To be truthful I was actually hit by a car, which is a lot more painful. Battling both an ongoing mental (focus, not la, la lunacy) and physical journey back to a comfortable status. On a brighter note, have just begun reviewing my draft for Book 13. For updates on it, hints and even the occasional quote you can follow me on Twitter. Valhalla Warriors Rule!
Wishing you only five star reads.

On the health front I'm doing okay. Just had surgery two weeks ago and am on the improve. Hopefully that will be my last hospital visit for about a year. Fingers crossed. Writing wise; have begun chapter one of a new book featuring Valkyrie Stephanie (Brodie's boss) and her Demon mate. My focus isn't great yet but I figure if I just do a little each day maybe I will get back into my old routine. Promise to keep you updated when I start making some real progress. I do love the Valkyries, they take no crap.
May all your reads be five star fantastic.

To Handle A Hellcat will be coming your way mid-july-ish. Yet to pick an exact date. Have started editing. Darcy is such a blast, can't wait for you guys to read her story.
Jane Cousins
In the midst of re-editing all 11 currently published books into paperback format - picture a hamster on a wheel. Promise to blast/tweet/blog when everything is finalised - think another 2-3 weeks.

Thank you - that means a lot. Next couple up will be Fate weaver, Riya and Maat Warrior, Marcus - in To Fight A Fate. Followed by our favourite sociopath Darcy and gorgeous Declan in - To Handle A Hellcat. And then, fingers crossed - To Goad A Goddess - where we'll see Elijah and Copper go head to head. Yes - on the pregnancy front. In To Fight A Fate - Hadleigh's pregnancy woes will continue. And the answer to who will give birth first - Gaia or Haleigh - will be answered. Happy Reading.

Yes I do. It's kept in a floor safe, closely guarded by a bridesmaid's dress. Unfortunately, it is in no fit state to be seen in public.
Thrilled to hear you are liking the series. Happy Reading.

Aw, you're so sweet. Glad to hear you like the books. Book 10 - To Surprise A Seer - will be published sometime around June (no definite date as yet). The leads will be Quinn (bridesmaid from book 1) and Matias, Latin hottie who owns the Five Alarm Bar, along with his brother.
Darcy is due to feature in book 12 - she's my favourite too - so no pressure there. In the meantime; Happy Reading!

Eve and Roarke - from J.D Robb's In Death series. For me, they are a physical, emotional and intellectual match. A support team. Balancing each other, and bringing out the best in their partner.
Throughout the series there have been lots of tears, loss, a roller-coaster ride of dealing with past ghosts, and there have been laughs.
And throughout it all, they have never wavered, never judged, their love has never faltered, only expanded and deepened. So... Eve and Roarke.

Cam - am so glad that you are loving the series. Can never hear that enough. Book 9? I'm in edit mode right now. To Vex A Valkyrie is due to be released mid-November. So back to the grindstone I go. Happy Reading.

I'm excited too. Wait until you see the hottie on the cover, he's gorgeous. To be published Monday or Tuesday next week - I'll blog/tweet as soon as it is available... so close now.
Happy Reading - Jane

Marcia, unless fan demand reaches critical levels there won't be any more books in this series.
Saying that though, I do have Avery's story vaguely plotted out in my head for book 4. And yes you would have gotten a few answers in regards to the plot against Chase.
I'd even gone so far as to have some thoughts on book 5, which would have involved Kiki - Sher's best friend from book 2. And just to be a complete tease, I'd also had some thoughts on book 6, bringing back Ryan & Chase for another mystery (while Chase tries to convince Ryan to marry him)
Never say never - but at this stage, the By The Numbers Series is on hiatus.
Thanks for all your support

So no pressure then? LOL
I wish I could say yes. But I'm just not that organised at the moment. I could blame the frantic holiday season but I hadn't even considered the pre-order option.
Never fear though -the good news is that all is going well on the edit side of things, and I may actually be publishing a few days earlier than expected - fingers and toes crossed.
I'll send out an updated blog with all the book details as soon as it becomes available.
Wishing you and yours a great holiday season.

Hey Marcia,
I've been nose to the laptop of late, working hard to get book 8 finished in draft form. Come December 1st, I intend to shift my attention to re-write/edit mode in regards to book 7 - To Shackle A Shrew.
Assuming there's not too much work to do (I like to metaphorically put them away on a shelf for 3-4 months) and my favourite cover artist is available - To Shackle A Shrew will be out some time around the 18th December.... crossing all fingers and toes.
Thanks for being a fan of the series. And if you have any further questions get in contact.
Here's wishing you a great coming holiday season

Trina, so happy to hear your positive feedback. Must admit Darcy is a big fave of mine as well. She appears in several more of the books in the series, each time more hints/info is revealed as she searches to find out who marked her. Currently Darcy is scheduled to be the lead character in book 10 or 11, as several other plot points have to occur first before she meets her match. Look to book 3 for the biggest hint on who marked her.
