Frequently, thoughts come to me at night. I find that I am anxious to get them recorded when I get up in the morning. Other times, I just sit down and start typing, hoping that something good comes of it.

I have about three paragraphs written for my next story. It is fiction, something I am only beginning to write. Previously, I have written my memoir, a few short stories, and a few poems that are all autobiographical.

Just start writing. Worry about the details later. I find I become inspired by the fact that I have something written that I can look at when I have calmed down a bit.
