I was constantly walking around laughing at the different situations they would get into saying I should write a book about these funny situations. I realized, as a young officer, I would also find myself in hilarious, albeit compromising situations. I learned to laugh at myself often. While in Iraq on my third tour I ran into one of my former drivers. He asked me if I had ever written a book. I began to jot down some stories and the next thing I knew I had enough to put a book together. So I did.
