Ah, writer's block. It's a thorn in the side of just about every writer that has ever held a pen in his hand--or her hand. Myself, I don't tend to get writer's block very often, but when I do I usually splurge on movies and good books till I can get my rhythm back.

I think there are a lot of good things that come with being a writer. For me the best thing is the ability to come up with a story that sticks in a person's head and makes them think, makes them reevaluate how they see the world. The ability to touch someone through the written word is an enormous gift.
