Just like all other stresses in life, I exercise to cope with writer's block. I usually weight-lift, walk, run and/or practice yoga. Also, I meditate when my mind is really flustered. Overall, whatever soothes you will likely break your writer's block.
Another way to deal with writer's block is this: Go a few days (or a week) without writing. As a matter of fact, I recommend getting away from social media (or your smartphone) during this time. This allows your brain to relax and regain focus.

That's easy: Being able to say what the hell you want to say! There are no teachers or bosses hunched over you dictating what to write. You write whatever you feel like. Just make sure it's good! :-)

Two words: Take notes! Keep your smartphone (or notepad if you're old school) by you at all times. You never know what situation will spark the next best idea. Even though Fitness 4Play is loosely based on my personal life, it is still fiction. Therefore, I had use my imagination to create several scenes. I always jot down notes in my smartphone whenever a "fly" idea came to me (especially when I wake-up)

I always love putting words together. I have been a freelance writer to several health/fitness websites for the past year. It wasn't until January 2015 when I decided to write my first book (I have ghostwritten previous ebooks). Right now, I'm focused on romance writing (particularly black love) from a male's point of view. A man's perspective isn't seen enough in today's romance literature; thus, I wanted to fill that void.

Honestly, the Fitness 4Play series came from my past (and a little bit of my current) personal life. Most people have an unique dating history. I just decided to share a TADBIT of mine.
