If the block is consistent, I leave the script until I have the urge to go at it again. Sometimes that takes years, sometimes it is never. So, I write other books instead.

Finish your story! Even if it just gets to be ten pages. Then rewrite it, and it will be 50, rewrite again and you're up to 200. Never just rewrite the first chapter. That gets you nowhere.

I get ideas that urge me to turn them into books. That can take quite a while - from the idea to starting to write, and then to completing the book.

I was irritated by a lot of memes on the web with fake Lao Tzu quotes, so I had to write a book about how to expose them and where the quotes are really from. I was in for some surprises :)
