Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Steve Doherty In 1995, I met the former counterintelligence agent. He asked me to write a book about his WW2 missions.

How do you get inspired to write?
Steve Doherty I'm driven by my dreams and goals. If you want to be a successful writer, dream big and don't stop until you achieve your dream.

What are you currently working on?
Steve Doherty I'm working with my publisher to get my second book, CALL FOR BLOOD, published by October 2015. It is the second in a series I have planned involving Jonathan Preston.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Steve Doherty Write, write, write; and don't worry about criticism from friends or family.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Steve Doherty I never had writer's block. The hardest part of writing is scheduling time to write every day, because I take taekwondo lessons four times a week and babysit a four year old granddaughter three times a week.
