Recently I have been working on magazine articles for Smyrna Life Magazine. These are 1,000 pieces and have covered localized historical topics. My first was on the Mosquito Lagoon House of Refuge and was published in the spring 2014 issue. My second one, which will be published shortly in the summer 2014 issue, is on the New Smyrna Sugar Mill Ruins. I will also have an article on the Venetian Bay Golf Club in that issue. I will be writing a historical article for the next issue as well. The editor and I are currently discussing options.
I am currently finalizing a proposal that will be sent to The History Press, the publisher of my first book. My second book is tentatively titled A Guide to Historic New Smyrna Beach. It will deal with historic sites and locations in New Smyrna Beach, FL. It will be more than a travel guide. I will be telling the history of these locations; the who, what, where, when, etc,
