She partners with a Detective from the Maitland Police Department, Josh Logan. As the leads are mounting, so is the body count, and the closer Madison gets to the truth, the more her life is in danger.
Beyond Secrets is the first book in the Madison Hart Mysteries, followed by Beneath Secrets and, just released, The Dark Side of Secrets. Coming in 2016 is Murder in Maitland.

I was asked how I got inspired to write and my answer is fairly simple. I’ve always had these stories playing out in my mind but it wasn’t until the loss of my mother and my brother who passed away five month later and the words they said to me, “Don’t wait until you’re too old or too sick to follow your dreams.” So I started writing a fantasy novel and gave life to the characters who resided in my head.

What I would tell an aspiring writer is to write what you know about, write from your heart and don’t worry what the other authors are doing, just keep on writing. Something my late brother told me was, “do not wait until that someday to what you’ve always wanted to do.” Just sit down and start writing. You don’t have to know all the ins and outs of the business to put your story to print (or eBook) just …DO IT!!

The best thing about being a writer, for me, is no matter what the world is dishing out; no matter the problems of the day, I can open up my computer and pound away at the keys and watch as the characters that have been dancing in my head come alive…that’s just me and I suspect true for many authors who are passionate about writing.

Though my mind is continuously running with scenarios, characters and plots, when it comes to sitting down and working on a project, my fears stream in and try to block me with: What if I can’t convey my story so my readers will feel what I’m feeling? What if no one will like my book? What if I can’t reach any readers?
But I find if I just sit down and start writing, even if it’s just free writing, my thoughts are redirected to the lines forming on the once blank sheet on the computer and soon the rest of the woes of the world begin to vanish into the shadows and finally, nothing else exists but me pounding on the keys to bring my story to life.

I traveled to a small town in the western mountains of Massachusetts that rested along the shores of a river and all I could see as I strolled through the town, was a great location for a mystery…then one thing led to another, thus, Nights of Autumn Book 2 in the Seasons of Passion Mystery Series was created.
