"A Murder In Nether Bumble" - a murder-mystery set somewhere near Bentley Hill. It is not a continuation of the Bentley Hill stories and is self-contained, but there are several locations that may be familiar to longtime readers.

I've always wanted to write a murder-mystery, and finally decided to do it. The idea had slowly formulated from other books I had written - I had a location and an idea of what the characters would be like. All I needed was to create a hero (an amalgamation of several people I have met) and a victim. The victim - a vicar - was chosen as he seemed the least likely person to be murdered in the entire village.
