Lucy Chau Lai-Tuen Sheen I open the cupboard. The digestives have all gone!
Lucy Chau Lai-Tuen Sheen I'm quite eclectic and I do tend to have ideas, thought and things buzzing in my brain 245/7. If I'm having difficulties with one piece I'll move on to something else. If that doesn't work then I'll go for a walk, or play a crappy computer game, listen to music or just get on a bus for the hell of it.

Lucy Chau Lai-Tuen Sheen I'm working on my first anthology of poems, a short film script, submitting my début film (documentary) to a variety of International Film Festivals and hoping to complete two full length stage plays by the end of the year.
I also have two small theatre writing commissions which I need to complete by June/July and will be performing an extract of my latest work (work in progress) as part of the International Poetry Festival at The Southbank Centre in London on July 25th for tickets use this link

Lucy Chau Lai-Tuen Sheen I've always written but wasn't until 2010 that I plucked up the courage to share what I've been writing. My background and being a person of colour permeates my world view - I can't help it. In the same way that it affects how some people decide to relate to me or interact with me.
Also reading, or seeing British people like me and hearing their voice is still pretty rare in the UK.
Lucy Chau Lai-Tuen Sheen That's been brewing for quite a few years now. It came from having had a plethora of Take-away menus put through my letterbox
