Seriously, it's the ability to tell stories that people want to hear. It's rewarding to me when people talk to me about things I've written and develop a connection to my stories. That's a very cool thing to move people in that way.

Don't try to have the whole story in your head when you sit down to write it. That limits you. Just sit down, write and see where the words or the story takes you...instead of you taking the story to some preconceived place.

Currently, I am finishing up the 2nd of the CAUSE/EFFECT books. This one will be about the self titled Motley Crue record that featured vocalist John Corabi replacing Vince Neil. I am also working on a longer form book about my debaucherous life while I was in the military, and specifically my time in Korea.

I am a free flowing writer and speaker. Whether I'm writing or doing radio, I simply put out whatever thoughts are in my mind. I'm lucky enough to have this gift to where it all seems to make sense in real time. I do no planning at all prior to writing anything.

When I was in the hospital after being burned, my mom said she wished there was a book out there from someone that told the story of how to get through a burn accident. It took me awhile, but I finally was able to deliver that.
