A.J. Raven That's a tricky question ^^. I think it goes both ways. Bringing in science in a well written book can indeed create interest for readers to bring in science into their own lives. They could end up checking out more similar books and find that it's a new thing they enjoy. While introducing science in my YA books is also a way for me to attract readers who already have science as an essential part of their lives :)
A.J. Raven I don't think I've ever experienced writer's block. However, if you feel frustrated and don't/can't write anymore then don't be afraid to stop writing and come back to it after a few days or even months, depends on you. I mean, your story isn't going anywhere even if you wrote down some chapters. You can always return to it when you are ready. Just have fun writing.
A.J. Raven For me, the ability to write down all the ideas that float around in my head and share it with anyone who might be interested in reading.
A.J. Raven Keep writing. There aren't a lot of people out there who actually finish writing a book. Even if you don't get super stardom over night, at least you can experience the feeling of achieving something when you write the last chapter of your book.
A.J. Raven Currently I'm working on Book 3 of the 'Somerville' Mystery Series. I might continue writing that or I might start Book 5 in the 'Colville' Paranormal Mystery Series. It depends.
A.J. Raven I don't know. Something just turns on in my mind and I just have sit down and write away no matter where I am.
