My first book Chav Christianity came out of a longing to go deeper into my dissertation at bible college. My dissertation was based on how the class war affects the church, and what we can do to be a better witness in working class environments. 8000 words just wasn't enough for me, and so I wrote 42000 words with a lot more depth and fun, then got it published. Happy Days!!

My inspiration to write comes from trying to meet a need for easy to read books on Christian Spirituality. To be honest I connect with God quite a lot whilst writing, and love to be in his presence. This drives me on to write more too.

I'm currently working on my second Chav Christianity book: Building a relationship with the Holy Spirit, for new believers. I've really enjoyed writing it so far, and I'm looking forward to getting it out there.

I recently read a review for my first book, and the guy who had written it said that reading my book has changed the way that he conducts himself with working class clients. That's pretty cool!

I tend to read over what I've already written, or get stuck into some more research. I'm guessing that writer's block would be worse for fictional writers, but as someone that is writing non-fiction books it's quite easy to get over the problem.
