I went through that while writing all the stories for Zombie Command. When it happens walk away and read a book or watch a movie. Come back when your mind is fresh. My writer's block usually last a day or two. Then I can crack out pure horror gold.

You have the ability to tell a story that potentially will be read all over the world.

Write what you want to write not what you think the reader wants to read. If you are not having fun while writing a story, abandon it. If you get frustrated with the story, the reader will be able to tell.

I'm currently working on my short story: Zombie Hunter. I originally began working on it back in 2013 while writing all of my stories for Zombie Command. I got stuck and couldn't figure out how to continue. I put it aside. I wanted to include it in Second Journey Into the Unknown but I didn't have any room left for it in the book. It is going to be included in the global ebook release of Journey Into the Unknown: Deluxe Horror Edition. That will be released later this year on all ebook providers. I will then work on Karena: The Wrong Side of Heaven.

I be at work at a thought would pop in my head which causing me to write the whole story in my head at work and then I type it out when I get home. I read all the news headlines and come up with ideas from that. I also get a lot of my ideas from listening to the guests on Real Time With Bill Maher.

My brother and I began working on our next release "Second Journey Into the Unknown" back in April. My story Zombie Con (recently released as a single story) is based on our experiences at Walker Stalker Con Chicago 2014. I thought what would happen if a zombie outbreak actually happened at a Walking Dead convention. One of the stories "The Day of the Redheads" was written by both Mark and I. It is a updated version of my 1994 published short story "Night of the Living Redheads". Furnado is my answer to Sharknado with cats instead of sharks. It is my tribute to the Andy Griffith Show. I had a lot of fun working on that project. There is over twenty short stories in that anthology. It will be released on Oct 1, 2014.
