Marta McDowell 2017 is the 150th anniversary of the birth of Laura Ingalls Wilder (February 7, 1867). A good friend in all things Beatrix Potter is a expert in the Wilder world. And what a perfect gardening life to work on after writing an American garden history in the form of All the Presidents' Gardens!
