You seem like a person whose opinions are knowledgable and should be respected. But if you're going to award five stars to the execrable Monuments Men, don't you think you should write a review?
Lisa Van Gemert Ratings are how the person felt about the book independent of others. I rate books based on my own experiences, not necessarily to influence others or even inform them. Sometimes, I do write reviews, but I often just give stars to be able to sort them in my own list. For that book, I read the audio version, and I loved it. I am also influenced because I lived in Germany and appreciated insight into some of the things in the book. So, no, the short answer is that I don't feel that I owe anyone reviews.

This is not actually a question--it's a recommendation. I just finished reading Ex Libris--another book about books--and I loved it!!! I think you will, too. (I just got a prompt that this has to have a question mark, so here it is?
