That's a great question. I don't have any great mystery's in my life right now that would make a plot for a book.
Although, There is the case of the missing very expensive watch that we think my cat may have hidden away somewhere. That has been a mystery in our lives for years.

My favotite fctional couple is Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler. They were two fiercely independent people falling in love, i the worst of times, knowing they probably couldn't hold on to each other. I just love their individual strength and independence.

I love being able to touch someone with words. To create a scene or an emotion on a page using words and having someone "get it" has been a wonderful experience.

I accept that sometimes I am blocked. I have learned to rest into it, trusting that the wave will pass and I will be writing again. I don't ever try to force what isn't there.

Write! Don't worry about the finished product while you are in the creative process. Just write.

The idea came organically. I originally was writing as a healing tool. The book evolved into a memoir once I had uncovered my memories and was able to write about them in a cohesive time line.
