I would travel to "Wonderland". I would want to experience Wonderland by access by that rabbit hole underground passage, and I have read it may be somewhere beneath Oxfordshire, I would want to experience the land that heavily wooded and grows mushrooms, those well-kept gardens and substantial houses. And I would live it up the Duchess, White Rabbit, and the Mock. I guess I might be in some trouble like Alice!

Here are a few of my favorites to help work through creative constipation:
Go for a walk.
Eliminate distractions
Do something to get your blood flowing. ...
Play. ...
Change your environment.
Read a book.
Freewrite.
Listen to music (try classical or jazz to mix it up).

I like the way it can open your eyes, ears and mind to what is happening around you. Specific words and phrases catch your attention. Sights create word pictures in your mind. You notice life and your thoughts go in both directions – how did this moment come about, and where will it go from here? I appreciated the words that come to mind and gives me a paragraph to describe the process.

Think about any time you have to wake up in the morning to go to school or work. If you don't feel like going, you don't have a choice. You have the pressure of a possibly angry boss, getting a lower paycheck, and even getting fired, so you show up. That's how I feel about writing. You show up and create the moment.

I got the idea for my current book way back in my teens, but I was always afraid to publish it for fear of hurting my families feelings. I gained the courage to help others through my experiences.
