Sadie Haller Probably the best part of being a writer is that I am in complete control.
I control my work hours and environment.
I control my stories - well, as much as my characters allow.
I control my deadlines, cover art, promotion, and formatting.
Yes, that makes me a control-freak, but success or failure is entirely on my shoulders.
Sadie Haller The most recent book is the third in the series and is being written concurrently with the second, so technically, I'd say the inspiration comes from what inspired the series itself.

One Gold Knot was inspired by an early cover mock-up for One Gold Heart and a conversation I had with my daughter about weddings and funerals.

One Gold Triquetra was inspired by a a passing thought I had as I was writing One Gold Knot. What if two of the Doms secretly had a relationship with each other?
Sadie Haller Distraction and procrastination. I do something else. Sometimes, it's write something else, sometimes, it's an activity completely unrelated to writing.

I find it's kind of like when you can't remember something, like the name of a song, or an actor - the harder you think on it, the deeper it's buried in your memory, but once you move onto something else, it'll pop into your brain uninvited.
