Gary Edward Gedall The day is calm, sunny, and peaceful, beautifully reflecting her angelic looks and demeanour.

And so, the urge to kill, to maim, to gorge, will remain carefully hidden until she has trapped her next innocent victim in her delicate, silver web.
Gary Edward Gedall I would go to the world of Harry Potter and teach natural magic, shape shifting.
Gary Edward Gedall Many apologies,

I have had much too many things to do these last few weeks.

I will get round to it ASAP,

Thanks for your interest and your patience,

Kindest regards,

Gary
Gary Edward Gedall For The Island of Serenity, I was at a family ceremony and I got to thinking of my older brother, who died some years ago, and I realised that I had not ever really grieved for him. I reflected that grieving is not something that all of us are comfortable to do and that we would sooner avoid the experience.
I then imagined that someone might be led to a 'world' where they were offer the opportunity to grieve, but, in the first instant, rejected it.
Through various events, they then choose to go through the grieving process and then experience the benefit of it.
It was from there that I thought to create a series of islands; to use the chakra structure, (and a little of Maslow's pyramid), to build of process of self discovery on.
Then I had to understand why this person needs to work through each of
these areas of his life and how he can have access to the these islands, so I realised that he had to be someone that had wrecked his life and those around him, and was about to commit suicide.
Finally; to bring in someone that had succeeded to understand the important elements of life, (a monk), who could help those people to turn their lives around, seemed to be a fitting way to complete the tale

Gary Edward Gedall Everything inspires me, but as a full time psychologist, psychotherapist, I hear stories all day, every day.

Also, as a hypnotherapist, I am often inspired to create a story to respond to a particular need.
Gary Edward Gedall My work-in-progress is a mini opus that is in three interwoven parts; the life of a man that has been such a disaster that he is about to commit suicide, the man finds himself in an 'in-between space', where he has to pass through 7 islands, so as to have the right to continue, (these islands represent a spiritual journey of self discovery through using the structure of the 7 chakras), finally, all the people that he has hurt in his life, are convinced to accept of monk into their lives, who succeeds to correct all the errors made by the man.

Gary Edward Gedall The obvious answer, Write. You do not have to launch yourself into a 100,000 word project, even a short 'writing exercise' of a half page will work a bit the machine.

Reading is also important; at some point in your life, you will have to have read quite a lot of stuff written by others, to give yourself a writing base.

If you lack confidence, then join some sort of writing course or writers group, that way you can get; support and feedback.

Most of all, if you feel that you should write - then do it.
Gary Edward Gedall haI feel very lucky, in that I like the stuff that I produce.

So, when I have finished some pages, or better, a whole chapter, I get the pleasure to re-read what I have written, and to feel good about it.

Of course, support and praise from others is always nice, as is the idea that others are finding benefit and pleasure from what I have produced.
Gary Edward Gedall Strangely enough, the answer has to be, patience and not to panic. We all have moments when we have problems advancing a story.
Go and do something else and trust, that the creative part of yourself or your connection to your muse, (what-ever works for you), will continue to function somewhere, and, sooner or later, it will start again.
For me, this has always been true, for all my projects
