I very rarely get bored!
If it's raining and I'm stuck indoors, it's okay because I can write. If I'm stuck on an eight hour flight, it's okay because I can write.
I really love that as long as I have a pen and paper, I always have some way to entertain myself. And it's only if I'm really exhausted, or if I have a severe case of writer's block, that I can't do this.
Is that a lame thing to call the BEST thing about being a writer? Probably.

All sorts of ways! Reading a good book, watching a good film...sometimes I just wake up and feel inspired because life is good and why the hell not?
One thing that ALWAYS inspires me is visiting somewhere new. This can be a new city in the UK, or somewhere abroad. If I surround myself with natural beauty, or history, for the day then I start itching to write. My incoming holiday to China will hopefully inspire masses and masses of words.

It depends on where I'm at in the process...
If it's at a fairly early stage and there is less time pressure on me then I'll stop. Sometimes I'll start writing something else, or I'll just stop entirely and focus more on reading.
But if I feel like I don't have the time to stop, then I push through. This might mean a week will pass where I force out a paragraph per day, but I find that this is the quickest way for me to get over it. Eventually, I'll hit a new scene that gets my creativity flowing again!
