I get inspired to write by reading my work. I also always find something new to write about by reading and hearing other speakers. Sometimes I go to a speaking event and the speaker says something so profound that I would like to elaborate on. My minister at church is famous for doing this. He may say a line that fuels an entire article, maybe even a book.

My ideas for what I write comes from everyday life. I write what I love. What I love the most is helping people, so when I see a need for a new article I write it. I see a need, and I fill it.

The best advice I have for aspiring writers is to study your craft thoroughly. Stay up to date on the latest marketing techniques as well as following in the steps of the successful authors who came before you. I would also say success does not happen over night so don't give up, market daily.
