Never worry about having a perfect first draft, be open to criticism, don't always listen to what everyone says and believe in yourself. And of course - write every day or as often as you can.

I try my best not to focus on the problem - the more I'm bothered by it the worse it gets. So I try to get a few words out, even a couple of sentences, and call it a day. It may not be the progress I want but it is progress. Eventually the block will go away and I'll be back in the swing of things.
