Claire Manning Their daunting shadows thrown on the floor by the light coming through the windows behind them gave him chills.
He couldn’t explain the rationale behind his feeling. It might be an unfriendly place but he concluded that they were after all just statues standing there.

Claire Manning My characters, I invent them and I grow along with them. They become alive and I can get across my thoughts and ideas through them. They really become part of me. I really enjoy starting with a blank canvas and making it come alive through the story but majorly through the characters.
Claire Manning That has not been a problem so far. I hope this not come up as I go along. I have written a dozen of books in the last 3 years and inspiration is certainly not a problem.
Claire Manning My most recent book is Project Carbon Copy. The idea for the book came when my husband and I were joking around. We were looking at many of the candidates in the upcoming elections and one of us said to the other it looks like the aliens are already here. Most of them made no sense whatsoever and were disconnected from the reality of daily life. Then, three weeks later, 250 pages later, this book brings you into a Sci-Fi mystery, thriller and suspense story for you to enjoy and it has nothing to do with Canadian politics. :)
