There are so many things that can inspire me to put pen to pad. It could be a TV show I'm into, or walking down the street and noticing something that seems odd to me. Sometimes when I see something odd, I start to tell myself stories as to why it's odd, or how it came to be like that. There's inspiration everywhere!

For me the best thing about being a writer is getting to make stories up in my head. Most of the time these stories come from asking myself a simple question and just sitting around thinking about all of the crazy outcomes that could pan out. I love how the impossible is totally plausible inside my own head!

Currently, I'm outlining the second book in the Guardian Series. I'm also fleshing out a new idea that I hope turns into something fun and unique.

Write. Every day if you can. And read like your life depends on it. Also, try to be involved in things that interest and inspire you. I just got my latest idea from watching a few of my favorite T.V. shows.

Oh the dreaded writer's block. When I get into times where I can't seem to think through a novel or idea, I tend to focus on other endeavors. Those are the times that I read a lot, or watch Criminal Minds or Korean Dramas. I let my mind rest until something comes to me. Now, that can be tough because if it last a while it can be disheartening, but I don't like to force it if I can avoid to. Forcing it = crappy writing from me...lol!
