My current release, CATCHING HER RIVAL, is about twin sisters adopted at birth by two different families. Neither knew they had a twin until they came face-to-face at a wedding. The idea came about because I love the idea of twins and figuring out what would happen if you had a twin you didn't know about and discovering why you were separated at birth. CATCHING HER RIVAL is Allie's story and Charlotte's story (untitled) will be released in January 2016.

I get inspired to write by reading what I wrote yesterday. That gets me back into the story.

Currently I'm working on a Cinderella-themed story with a twist. Instead of going to the ball where the prince saved her, my heroine took charge of her life, became successful, and now she's back in her small hometown to deal with her past. There she finds a prince of a man with problems of his own.

My advice for aspiring writers is to write, write, write, and read, read, read. Not just in your genre, but across the board, including how-to books on writing. Also, join your local writing chapter and attend workshops.

The best thing about being a writer is hearing from readers. I love interacting with them. The second best thing is not having to drive at rush hour and writing in comfy clothes with no make-up!

When I get writer's block, it's usually because the story I'm writing is going in the wrong direction. Once I--or my wonderful critique partners--discover the problem, then the story flows again.
