Wendy A. Luvers The mystery of where my teenage years went and when. Why growing up was so painful. And why real life is hardly ever like in all the movies that you see.
Wendy A. Luvers Being a writer allows you the freedom to show everybody who is willing to have a look just exactly what you wish people to see - like what you felt like at one time in your life. Or what you think the world should look like. Or not look like.
There's nothing that can change people's hearts in this world except two things: Love and art.
Writing is art and therefore a chance to do your share of good in this life. And if you made just one person smile or cry or wonder or feel anything at all that sticks with them for a little bit - that's all you could ever have asked for.
Wendy A. Luvers I dream a lot. Not the daydreaming sense, but night-at-bed-sense. Sometimes I wake up with a faint memory of what I've seen and a strong feeling left in my chest and I get the urge to transfer this feeling, so that someone else can treasure it and feel the same for a bit.

Other than that - entertainment inspires me. TV shows, movies, music. Little quotes can be enough to let entire chapters bloom inside of my head, because the words triggered a spark that leads to a fire.
Wendy A. Luvers A series along the lines of mystery/horror. I am a big horror-fan and it has always tempted me to dive into the realms of demons and ghosts and goosebumps. It's fun. It is called "The Weather Chronicles" and the first book will be released by the end of the November. It'll be in german, so german audience, get excited. :-)
Wendy A. Luvers Get things done.
I know it's nice to drag it out and follow your characters forever more and write and write and write. But you gotta know when to finish stuff, too.

Good practice: write fanfiction.
Wendy A. Luvers I accept it for what it is. You cannot force creativity. Sometimes it helps rereading what you wrote, sometimes picking it up again after a week. I don't panic about it.

Most of the time I experience block - I write anyway, agreeing with myself to review this later and edit it, once I'm more "in" it. The process of getting started anyway shoos the writer's block away very quickly and usually only leaves me with a bumpy couple of first paragraphs that can be smoothed out easily.

Also: a great cup of coffee! :)
