Bronte Dee Jackson write. when i was asking myself whether i was actually a writer or not i read some great advice that said 'writers write'. your writing will lead you in to whatever you need to do or know about in order to get better. just write and read every week/day/month/whenever you can. as well as that i would recommend setting aside specific and planned time to write. not making writing something you do when you have nothing else you have to do or that somebody wants you to. allow yourself to write.
Bronte Dee Jackson Is being a writer a great thing? I write because i have to. i feel mentally unwell if i dont and my stories run around my head and get louder and louder until i write them down. i have never not felt like this. Asking this question is like asking me what is great about having two arms - it just is.
Bronte Dee Jackson Figure out what is wrong. am I bored with the charactor or situation? am i listening to my inner critic too much? am i tired, hungry, emotional? do i want to write about something else rather than what i am doing? maybe i need a break? i generally never feel i have enough time to satisfy how much i would like to be writing so i dont feel writer's block very often. my problem is usually having to stop rather than not wanting to start.
