I have out loud conversations with my characters. Full blown, laughing, arguing-conversations with them till I can talk it through.

Write, write and keep writing. It doesn't matter if it's good or not. And, make sure you get an editor. They do more than check spelling and grammar. They check for holes in your work and help you to take out stuff that is weighing the story down. Your editor becomes your best friend.

I'm working on Beneath His Darkness. It's the third book in The Healing Hearts Series. This is Grant's book and will be able to be read as a standalone. It helps to read Tucker & Adri's story which were the first two books because they introduced all the characters who will come in the series, but it won't keep you from understanding what's happening in this book.
