Years ago my best friend always wanted to spend the night in a haunted house. I started to think what that would be like - not spending the night, but actually plucking up the courage to get yourself through that door and under what circumstances would you take that step into the unknown. That's how The Short Straw came about.

I like to talk things out with myself! I find talking out loud helps, but it's my answers back to myself that really help solve the problem ... sometimes.
