What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Ann C. Averill Realize that your voice is as valuable as anyone else's. Write raw. Write honest. Find others who can help you develop your craft, and don't give up! Your writing is a product that others may desperately need to process their lives.

Ann C. Averill Being able to articulate truth.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Ann C. Averill I sit in my chair and scribble in my notebook about memories. Eventually I wind my way to something significant. Once I have raw material I can edit and craft until my piece leads me to the next important vignette.

What are you currently working on?
Ann C. Averill I'm currently working on a memoir - working title: Breadcrumbs, a Baby Boomer's Path to Jesus.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Ann C. Averill I was so full of conflicting emotions and spiritual confusions as a result of teaching in an urban middle school, that I had to write about my experience or risk implosion.
