I'm working on "Overboard." (working title). It is the third in the Kera Van Brocklin series. "A Venomous Cocktail" and "Twisted Minds" take place on the west coast of Michigan. "Overboard" takes place in Alaska.

I try to find out what is missing, what I don't know that keeps me from moving forward. For instance, maybe I don't know my characters well enough to know how they'd handle what's going on in the story, or if I have the wrong character. Or maybe I don't have a good sense, generally, of where my story is going. A good walk in nature always helps!
