I try and make to do lists and concentrate on being constructive in other ways, be that blogging, designing covers and promotional banners or generally brainstorming in some way. You can't force the words to come, but you can still be constructive.

Don't look too much in to what you "should" be doing as a writer. You are an artist and you have to find a way of writing which suits you as individual. It is way too easy to worry about ticking off boxes on someone's check list.

Pieces of Me, which is due to be released on Kindle on 1st November. I'm currently revising and editing it so it's ready for the 'go live' date. Other than that I have started work on my next book, C is for Cancer.

So many things inspire me! But mostly ideas just pop in to my head and I make a note of them (if I'm working on something else) and if when I come back to them the idea is still clear in my mind I continue writing.

It kind of just came to me, I was at work one day and 'boom', there it was. I made a quick note on a scrap of paper and started writing as soon as I got home. The main character started 'talking' to me and I had to tell her story.
