I have enough problems with this world. Not sure I could take on a whole new set of ones. The difficulty is that all of the worlds I visit in books are more fraught, subject to more conflict and far more dystopian than the one I already live in. I'd much rather disappear onto a small island off the coast of Norway with regular food drops, a kitchen garden and decent wifi than try to negotiate an new conflicted world.

Difficult to say as I tend to go for the brooding loner. I would probably say, if pushed, that it was Pellaz and Calanthe from Storm Constantine's wonderful Wraeththu Trilogy. Two characters who essentially break and recreate a world in order to be together. Beautiful!

60 hours straight of Skyrim usually does it. Essentially, zoning out, not thinking about writing and doing something mindless for a while. If that doesn't work, I'll just write the alphabet out, eventually it get bored of the rigidity and demands it's own form.

It's a cliche, but in a dream.
It was an odd one; a single static image of a floating black statue positioned in front of Uluru. I got nearly 300,000 words out of that so far. . . before editing, obviously...

Finishing part two of "Going Home"; mulling on a series of short stories based in the same universe as Going Home; a Lovecraft Pastiche; and a crime novel with sort of supernatural elements...sort of.
I've also recently edited a book of poetry for "A Swift Exit" called "Absent Ginsberg". I've got some poetry in in, too.

Write. Seriously. Just write. All the time. it doesn't have to be coherent, it doesn't have to have a plot; stream of conscious, automatic writing, etc., can bring up some interesting ideas. All writing, how ever artistically valid, is part of the learning process.
Also, be sparing with what you publish. 500 mediocre stories published in an ebook by the time you are 18 doesn't make you a writer. It shows a fundamental misunderstanding of 'editing'.
